Unless notified by a parent, MICS is obligated to hold seats for current students until the first day of school.
 
 
MICS shall offer enrollment to applicants in the order that they appear on the priority listing until the school has offered enrollment to the number of applicants equal to the number of available positions in the program, class, grade level or building for which the lottery is being conducted.
 
 
 
Enrollment offers are valid ONLY for the grade level specified in the application, i.e., "Anticipated Grade for 2018-2019." A student's current grade and anticipated grade may not be the same as a result of parent discretion on the enrollment application. The student must be formally retained by the school they are currently attending in order to be valid.
 
 
MICS shall have the right, at any point during the school year, to state that no further new waiting list students will be enrolled.
