UPDATE: BUS ROUTES THAT CURRENTLY HAVE WAIT LISTS:
Bus 1, 1st Run - AM
Bus 5, 2nd Run - PM
Priority for seats is based on signup time and date. If you sign up for a waitlisted bus, you do not need to make a payment.
ATTENTION NEW TO THE SCHOOL FAMILIES: You cannot sign your student up for bus service without Parentsquare and your students can't be loaded into Parentsquare until the End of Year process is completed and the registrar loads them into the system. That starts on July 8th.
The End of Year process is what closes out the school year, promotes students to the next grade, and resets the big database to the new school year. It also adds new students to the school. Parentsquare then pulls the student names and we send invitations to the new families to set up accounts.
We give returning students first priority in bus signups. Since they're already in Parentsquare, they get about a three week head start. The forms are then locked at the end of the month, new families loaded, and once everyone gets a chance to set up new accounts, the forms are unlocked again. The current timeline is expected to be
End of June: database shutdown and reset
July 8th: database reopened, new family loading begins, Parentsquare invitations begin
July 15th: Bus forms reopened.
ROUTES HAVE CHANGED. The Old Harris Teeter stop now includes Elementary seats and other routes have been changed to balance ridership and reduce the number of families on the wait list.
1st Run routes support Middle and High School times of 7:30 am and 2:30 pm.
2nd Run routes support Elementary School times of 8:20 am and 3:20 pm.
Elementary students may ride the 1st Run AM routes and Middle/High students may ride the 2nd Run PM routes.
Please Note: This policy is intended for siblings to ride together and for families with transportation difficulties. It also puts many families on the wait list. Please only use it if you need to.
Please don't jump on a different bus without checking with the office.
Stop times are approximate, please allow for a 10-minute window. Arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled stop time. The schedule WILL be updated to reflect current traffic conditions once we run the routes a few times at the start of the year.
Bus service is $75 per child, per semester or $150 per child, per school year. Sign Ups and payments for the 2025-26 school year will be via Parent Square. Click HERE to sign up.
